I am engaged in ESL teaching in India. I value the role of culture in language learning. I believe English could be the bridge language to teach and learn any foreign language. My recent conference paper submitted at The Third Cultural Linguistics International Conference (CLIC-2020) in Budapest, Hungary on 17-19 June, 2020 deals with teaching and learning French as a Foreign Language through English as a Second Language.

Kumbh: India in a mela

The Author Talk organized by the Global Library at O.P.Jindal Global University where Gopa serves as the Director of Global Languages Centre. The welcome note was delivered by the Director Mr. Chauhan. Dr Galina Rousseva, a scholar in Hinduism gave a researcher’s view on Kumbh and Poulomi Bhadra dwelled on the creative aspects of the coffee table book. Gopa highlighted the Hindu way of life and Kumbh as the congregation of pious Hindus attracting one in seven Indians to this grand celebration.
